Punta Borinquen Golf Club: A Timeless Legacy
Established in 1940 and designed by Ferdinand Garvin in 1939, Punta Borinquen Golf Club holds a special place in the hearts of golfers and history enthusiasts alike. Originally crafted as a 9-hole haven for military personnel stationed at Ramey Air Force Base, it quickly became a cherished escape for servicemen seeking relaxation and recreation.
Over the years, PBGC has transformed into a premier golfing destination, renowned for its challenging yet scenic layout. Set atop a cliffside promontory in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, the club offers panoramic views of the stunning sunsets and the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
Notably, Punta Borinquen Golf Club was a favorite of President Dwight Eisenhower, who frequented its fairways during his visits to the island. Today, PBGC remains a beacon of golfing excellence, welcoming golfers from near and far to experience the magic of its storied past and unparalleled beauty."

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the game of golf while providing recreational, educational, and community opportunities for residents and visitors in Puerto Rico. Through youth programs, tournaments, instructional clinics, and public access to our facilities, we strive to create an inclusive environment that encourages healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship, and community engagement.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote the game of golf by providing affordable access to quality facilities, supporting youth development, fostering community participation, and offering educational and recreational programs that benefit people of all ages. Beyond golf, we strive to make our facilities a welcoming community hub where local businesses, entrepreneurs, other nonprofit organizations, and community groups can promote their services, host events, and create opportunities that contribute to the economic and social well-being of our region.
